March Newsletter

With the weather becoming mild again, we know that spring cannot be far behind. May you and your family enjoy this time of year when all of nature comes back to life.

The Virtues-of-the-Month for March are Responsibility & Self-Awareness. As our children grow, one of the most important qualities they need to learn to develop is a sense of responsibility. When we strive to help our children become responsible persons we are helping them toward maturity. We can do this in the same way that we help them to develop other desirable traits: by practice and by example. At the same time, our children are developing their self-awareness as mature individuals, taking responsibility for their behavior, both good and bad, while seeking to multiply the good and learning from the bad.

At next Wednesday’s assembly we will have a kickoff for our eleventh annual Race for Education. Look for the folder that will be given to all the students. We appreciate your support of past events and look forward to a great success in this year’s effort as well. This year the results for this activity will be used to improve our facility, both inside and outside, especially our playground area.

We wish to invite you to re-register your child(ren) for the next school year starting the month of March. A folder will be sent out later this week or early next week. Those who do so by April 20th will receive a 50% discount off the $100 registration fee.

In addition, in March we are planning to hold two Open Houses, March 1 & 29, 6:00-7:30pm, for prospective parents. This is a good chance for you to invite anyone you may know who are looking for a good quality private school for their children for the next school year, whether they be your relatives, friends, neighbors, or work colleagues. Tell them about the best kept secret in Clifton: your child’s school!

Finally, you are welcome to sign up your child for a 6-week Robotics Engineering class sponsored by Engineering for Kids. A flier on this will be distributed next week for classes starting near the end of March.

God bless you all!

“Freedom makes a huge requirement of every human being. With freedom comes responsibility. For the person who is unwilling to grow up, the person who does not want to carry his own weight, this is a frightening prospect.”
